When I was married years ago it was a huge problem to get the entire wedding party to our city. Both my husband and I have relatives who live in several different states. We paid for and arranged transportation for guests, which meant arrangements alone cost a fortune and involved hours of work. In contrast, when my daughter was married she and her husband decided to use a Jet Rental service. They arranged to have one plane pick up several people at various destinations and drop them off at the local airport. Everyone rode in comfort and arrived fresh and happy. There are definite upsides to progress.
