A co-worker was trying to install new software at our place of employment when he discovered a problem. He could not locate a driver that he had previously thought was installed on the computer. Now, he is not the IT “go to” person, but he does know a thing or two about computer systems. He asked me for my help in locating the driver, however, I had no knowledge of how to go about this task. I didn’t even understand what a driver was. He was able to access the help of Windows XP driver updates, which greatly helped him figure out how to locate his driver.
