Actually, the PSP is a video game consoles - not a movie player. But more and more people use it to watch full length movies on it. The reason for this is obvious: The display is a high quality and high-resolution display able to show full motion video and films in a decent quality. The format is also ideal for watching real movies since the display is much wider than a normal iPod display. When you look at it reminds you of a small plasma TV. Since this is what everybody wants you feel good when you are sitting on an airplane and watch your movies while everybody left and right looks at you in envy. This might be the reason why  everybody wants to download movies to their psp.
