As a technician for Atlanta Computer Repair Company Nerds Next Door, I am often asked to evaluate computers for my clients to see if the computers will fit their needs. Often people ask for very inexpensive PC’s, and no one makes a more inexpensive computer than Emachines. 

The problem is that Emachines are very cheap, but oftentimes they have limited upgrade paths, and use VERY economical(read cheap) parts to try to keep the costs low. This computer, the ET1161-07 followed the same E Machine model. It was very cheap, but it was also cheaply made, I think you would do better spending a little more money and getting a little better machine.
