Ever since I was in grade school, I have known about people who marry to get a green card.  My friend’s mom did that and she told me about it so her mom would be able to get them as soon as she can.  It sure looked like we are back to the olden times when people marry for dowry, this time it is for a Marriage Green Card.  Although after they get the green card, I heard they file for divorce. The objective of the union is just to get a green card. I could not really blame them for wanting to have a better life for themselves and their kids.
