To keep up to date on what is happening in the world, a person needs to watch the news or subscribe to one of the news programs on the Internet.  News comes on so much, you can always find time to watch one of their broadcasts.  My father watches the news constantly, and sometimes it really gets on my nerves.  He is usually watching the news when my favorite program comes on.  When I have some extra money, I am going to buy my own television set and put it in my room.  Then, I do not have to watch the news all the time.
