When I don’t know much about the person I asked out I always start out at Starbucks or any other coffee house with a charming atmosphere. This is a very neutral place that she should feel comfortable with already and this sets up the second part of my plan. I use this to get to know her a little bit more and have a set of questions I ask her specifically to determine where to take her. I ask her things like what she likes to eat, where the last place she visited was and often get her to talk about an experience she had when she went out.
