Many people personalize Beer Huggers to support there ideas and beliefs such as NASCAR, American pride, company loyalty, weddings, parties, birthdays and for celebrations of any kind.  I started to hear the word koozie in the early 90s mostly in the Texas region and thought to my self what the heck is a koozies/beer hugger?  I personally call them Koozies simply because thats the most popular term I hear.  With a koozies you can keep a beer at 40F for an average of 40 minutes on a hot day!  Koozies are made from many materials like foam, polyurethane, neoprene (wet suit material), leather, nylon and even steel, with the popularity of koozies many companies have started manufacturing with new materials and new technologies like full color printing which was not possible until recently.
