As a fishermen living in Florida my life has been forever changed by the BP oil disaster. My source of income has disappeared, and my financial future is unstable. I applied for the BP Claims as soon as the money was set aside. I got $1000 in good faith money just for applying. My brother was also a fisherman, and is facing the same uncertain future that I am. I told him to hurry up and apply for the funds as after July they will no longer be giving out good faith money. There are new rules, and you will have to supply a lot more documentation.
