As sports go, I have to say that tennis is not one of my favorites. I must admit though that this year I have watched more tennis at Wimbledon than I have for a long time. I remember the days of McEnroe, Connors, Nastase, Borg, King and Evert, when the players seemed to have more character than they do today. Maybe it’s just me getting old. Anyway, this year the Scot Andy Murray has been playing very well, and his match in one of the rounds on the center court which didn’t finish till after 10.30 was enthralling. How far he will go in the tournament we will have to wait and see.
