Salesman for Contemporary Chandeliers
October 14, 2008 10:21 am HomeCollege changed almost everything in my life. It exposed me to the harsh realities of life that indeed there are rules – even if some are nasty – to follow. College killed off my virginal touch on idealism and the hope for utopia. College taught me that sometimes you have to be nice for wrong reasons. I enrolled in a liberal arts course in college with the hope of pursuing my dream as a writer. I always wanted to be a writer and just write. Look t me now, I ended up as salesman for contemporary chandeliers. My dream to become a writer has to remain a dream. I learned in college that it’s just the way it is whether I like it or not.
