I have decided that I want to get new sofas for the living room. The old ones can go down to the family room in the finished basement, where the kids play with their friends. However, I am torn between which type of sofa fabric I should choose. I don’t really like the floral prints, but the plain colors look a bit dull to me. Would it look nicer to get some type of plaid or abstract pattern, or to get plain sofas? I think it would be easier to match the rest of the decor with plain fabrics, but I like the patterned ones better.
