Before I was married, my parents gave me the most beautiful piece of bedroom furniture I have ever seen, an oak sleigh bed. When I was younger, my aunt had a sleigh bed and I always told myself I would get one someday. My parents knew when I was to get married and we would obviously need a bed, so they bought me this bed as a gift. We were able to sleep on the bed for two years, but then just seemed to run out of room. We needed to upgrade to a king size. We put the beautiful oak sleigh bed in our guest room where it now sits today. This bed has the most comfortable mattress which feels like you are resting in the most comfortable cloud. Whenever I need a daytime nap or am feeling sick, I bundle up in this bed and think of how lucky I am it is mine.
