Today I went out for some good old window shopping, going along the lengths of orchard road the haven of shoppers. A whole long stretch of road around 3 km pack with shopping centers and small shops on both sides of the road. So if you are and obsessed shopper this is a perfect place to spend your day. The only problem today is that although I am in sunny Singapore sometimes it will tend to rain, and when it rains it is hell in orchard road. There is not much cover from now to there so if it rains you are struck at that particular shopping center. Today the moment I finished off with one shopping center, it started to rain for me. With more then half of the day still left and the rain does not seems to be stopping anytime soon. As I said I am in shopping heaven so prices of umbrella are set by shops so as to rip us off. Luckily for me there are umbrella vending machines nearby which will only cost me $4 dollars per umbrella, prefect for temporary use. So thanks to that vending machine I spend the rest of my day nice and dry without forking out extra bucks for a temporary umbrella.
