Chances are, you may have heard of a single MMR vaccine. This is a very popular vaccine, because it is a cure for three problems at once. In fact, the MMR stands for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella. That is why it is called a single MMR, because you get three all at the same time. Everyone gets these kinds of vaccinations before they start school. Since you have to have all three of them, doctors felt that it would be easier to combine all of them into one vaccine instead of having to do three of them at different times.
