Do orthotics cause muscle atrophy

9:52 pm Health

Questions that are being asked is about orthotics does it causes muscle atrophy? The exact answer is no but many believe they do. The evidence shown is that they don’t. What would be the reason why some people really insists they do. Well we really don’t know. These foot orthotic are made to support the foot, so theoretically it is a possibility that the muscle do not need to work as hard and get weaker. Others like to argue that the opposite is the case. As foot orthotics correct foot alignment, then the orthotics actually get the muscles to work properly and therefore strengthen them. Both theories can not be right. The evidence is that foot orthotics do not cause muscle atrophy.
