My wife and I have been hearing a lot about the DIY super but are not really clear on how it all works.  They way I understand it, individuals are able to set up and manage their own retirement funds but I am not sure that I understand this correctly.  That sounds too good to be true.  We want to make an appointment with somebody that can help us understand how this works and guide us in the right direction.  I would like to be able to manage my own retirement fund and am anxious to learn more about how the process works.
