I had heard the term “virtual job” at some point, but I probably thought it referred to some sort of video game or something.  It wasn’t until I became suddenly unemployed that I became interested in finding out more about it.  I have never had trouble finding employment, but suddenly the competition was too great.  I started looking around and found that there are many companies that hire virtual assistants to complete all types of tasks.  Many of the jobs will include medical transcription, email monitoring, proofreading, customer service calls, telemarketing or making travel arrangements.  There are many types of jobs that will fit all types of skill levels.
