Have you heard the term fluff posting? Fluff posting is becoming a big problem for online forums because the term refers to posts that offer nothing of value to a discussion and contributes nothing to making a thread a valuable resource on a topic. Characteristically, these posts say something such as ‘thanks for the valuable information’ and a lot of pages unsurprisingly have a lot of pages containing posts like that. Just imagine if you go to a forum looking for something and you find a thread on your topic but you have yet to scroll through a whole lot of nonsense to find the real discussion. That will lead you to feel irritated and perhaps you will leave that forum immediately.
