He really doesn’t have an ideology either. He has himself. He suffers from NPD — he is a pathological narcissist. it is always all about him all of the time. He can’t suffer criticism — we’ve seen him lash out, we’ve seen him bully. So when he can’t be sure he will be loved and adored, he tries to avoid doing anything.

We’ll need to babysit Our Dear Leader for two more years and hope that nothing more significant than what has happened (and I’m not suggesting that what has happened is insignificant) occurs until he finishes his tenure in office. Otherwise, the president who truly does need smart, strong people around him will drive the country into a ditch and probably bring about a major international crisis relying on the fantasy football advice-land advice of people who’ve never had to make their ideas work and who are too arrogant to ask for help.
