As an art lover there is no better place to visit than New York City.  Among the many museums and galleries there are a great many surprises.  Ordinarily I tend to look for traditional art and usually don’t give much thought to the newer artists.  That changed recently when I had an opportunity to visit some of the contemporary art galleries New York has to offer.  I was fascinated by the bold, clean lines represented in some of the art and could envision certain pieces in my home.  This experience has prompted me to start looking into the contemporary scene a bit closer, perhaps I need to expand my tastes a bit.
