Some people are starting to treat cat 5e plenum cable as though it is in the 11th hour of its existence. Already I'm hearing some of my fellow colleagues and coworkers start to look down upon this kind of cabling because of the newest stuff that's coming out. The problem with the new stuff is that everything that we currently have right now works with the old stuff and cannot take advantage.
